HOME SAFETY EQUIPEMENT SCHEME.

Safety Net has received funding from the Sussex Downs Primary Care Trust to provide a low cost Home Safety Scheme. Through Health Visitors, parents can apply for various home safety items such as Stair Gates, Bed Guards, Cupboard locks etc.

The cost of these items differ depending on parents income and individual needs but as an example parents who receive Income Support would pay £5.00 per item.

As part of this scheme, Safety Net also visits local Children Centre's to talk to parent groups about "Keeping Children Safe in the Home"
