How we can help

If you work with Children and Young People your workers and staff will need to do child protection training every 2 – 3 years.  Most funders will want proof that your staff and volunteers have had up to date training and it’s also essential for making sure your group is safe.  

1. We can offer FREE child protection training  for small community groups in Brighton and Hove who work with children and young people.  Funded through the ‘Lets Protect! ‘  scheme of Quality Assaurance for small CVS groups.

2. Larger CVS organisations can also access training at a very low cost.Contact lynne.charmer@safety-net.org.uk for more information.

Staff and volunteers  can also access an  e-safeguarding training which is FREE for groups based in Brighton and Hove. This training can be completed on your computer at home or work over a period of time.  Download information here or contact guy.walsh@safety-net.org.uk
