Child Protection Training
How we can help
If you work with Children and Young People your workers and staff will need to do child protection training every 2 – 3 years. Most funders will want proof that your staff and volunteers have had up to date training and it’s also essential for making sure your group is safe.
Safety Net run regular Introduction to Safeguarding & Child Protection training sessions which are suitable for anyone working with children and young people as part of a small community group or project. Sessions last three hours, refreshments are provided and you will receive resources to take away with you at the end of the course.
Those requiring more in depth knowledge of Safeguarding and Child protection can attend our full day Safeguarding Lead training. We also run Policy Workshops for those wishing to receive help and advice on developing a Child Protection Policy for their setting.

All of the above sessions can also be run at your own premises and tailored to suit the requirements of your setting. Please contact the Training Team on 01273 420973 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Safety Net can provide Safeguarding Training for schools which meets Ofsted requirements, please see our schools safeguarding page for more information.
