PRESS RELEASE: Safety Net nominated for CYP Now Award

Local charity Safety Net is a finalist in the national Children & Young People Now Awards 2012.

Safety Net is shortlisted in the Children and Young People’s Charity category for the charity that has made the most impressive contribution, at a local or national level, in improving the life chances of children, young people or families.

Safety Net Director Terri Fletcher said: ”Nearly 400 entries were submitted this year and this is a fantastic achievement which recognises the quality of our work carried out in Brighton and Hove.”

The Children & Young People Now Awards are a showcase for excellence to recognise and appreciate the work that enables children, young people and families to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives. Now in their seventh year, there are 19 categories open to individuals and projects from across the UK.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Hurlingham Club in London on 29th November.
