Protective Behaviours Practice Network

The Protective Behaviours Practice Network meets termly and is designed to bring together people who have completed the 2 day training course and are using the process in their work.  The Network aims to enable people to share ideas and practice and we invite guest speakers along to talk about how they are using Protective Behaviours and complementary ideas in their practice.

Over the last year we have had guest speakers including Holly-Ann Martin, an inspiring speaker from Australia who talked about her Protective Behaviours work in remote aboriginal communities.  At the last event, Dr Stephen Briers a local clinical psychologist and broadcaster talked to us about his book, 'Superpowers for parents' which stresses the importance of helping children to develop emotional literacy, assertiveness and problem solving skills as a way to help them to develop resilience and keep safe.

To join the Network and receive regular updates please e-mail training@safety-net.org.uk with your details and we will add you to our mailing list.
