Home Safety Equipment Scheme
Safety Net has been funded by the Primary care trust to provide a home safety equipment scheme to families across Brighton and Hove. Through Health visitors, parents can apply for a variety of home safety items such as stair gates, bed guards, fireguards and cupboard locks.
We have also recently been accepted into the ROSPA National Home Safety scheme, funded by the government, which means that we are able to provide even more stair gates to families on low incomes and with highest need.
As part of this scheme, Safety Net also visits local children's centres to talk to parent groups about 'Keeping children safe in the home'.
