Individual Support for Families

We work in partnership with families and schools

We offer a respectful, confidential and flexible service tailored to individual families’ needs.

We will work together with some or all the family to find solutions and bring about positive change.

Who is the Service For?

This service is available to families with a child/ren at a participating primary schools in Brighton and Hove

How does it work?

We usually meet with parents and carers at home, school or other location of your choice or offer support over the phone. We are available to support you with any issues you and your family are facing. We will initially meet for unto 6 sessions, if your families needs are more complex it may be longer. We can work with all the or some or the family members. If we cannot help you we will help you find the right support for you and your family.

We may use an Early Help Assessment to help co ordinate a package of support if other support services are needed, families have found this approach very helpful.  ( see Brighton and Hove Council website and search ‘Early Help ‘ for more information on Early Help approach )
