Individual Support for Families
We work in partnership with families and schools and offer a respectful, confidential and flexible service tailored to individual families’ needs. Our service is led by the concerns of parents/carers and we aim to work together with family members to find solutions and bring about change.
Who is the Service For?
This service is available to families with a child/ren at a primary school in the East area of Brighton and Hove
How does it work?
First we meet with family members at home or at other local venues to identify what the issues are and what changes the family wants to make. We usually work together for approximately 3 months with a weekly or fortnightly visit or phone call.
We can use a CAF Common Assessment Framework approach to help co ordinate a package of support if other support services are needed, families have found this approach very helpful.
