Support for Fathers /male carers

WORK WITH FATHERS – For schools, children’s centres – or any agency that wants to improve the inclusion of fathers and men in caring roles.

We work supporting fathers to develop better links with the school, increase involvement with their children’s learning, improve family relationships and build supportive networks in their role as parents.

(Research shows that when fathers get involved with their children and their learning it can have a significant impact on self-esteem, achievement and enjoyment of school, reduces school exclusions, and has long term positive results in educational outcomes, reduces criminality developing a higher quality of later relationships, and long term mental health.)

We provide a phased programme which includes an outing/workshops/6 week family learning course/resulting in peer led fathers involvement in schools, we do this in partnership with members of staff from school.
