 Family Support Worker

Brighton and Hove

37 hours per week: initial contract to 31 March 15

Do you want to work in an empowering and creative way with parents/carers /families where children and young people have emotional wellbeing and mental health needs?

Safety Net in partnership with Brighton and Hove Community CAMHS (EPaCC) Team seek to appoint a Family Support Worker to work within the Schools and Communities Team.  The post holder will undertake specific strategies to solve problems at the point of need, including home visiting and group facilitation. A background in family support and mental health settings is required.

Early Help Coordinator

 Safety Net in partnership with Hove cluster of primary schools

Part time: 28 hours, term time only

Temporary contract for 11 months to start Sept 1st 2014

Salary £24,892 pro rata

 

Safety Net in partnership with the Hove cluster of primary schools seeks to appoint an experienced and skilled person to help increase the provision of ‘Early help’ for families facing challenges to improve outcomes for children.  The post holder will provide direct support to parents and families, as well as enabling the development of key staff and the coordination of services in schools.

The post holder will have considerable experience and skills in working with parents and families, as well as an understanding of schools and knowledge of statutory and non-statutory service provision; a professionally recognised qualification relevant to work with families is desirable.

Safety Net in partnership with the Patcham and Preston cluster of primary schools seeks to appoint an experienced and skilled person to help increase the provision of ‘Early help’ and improve outcomes for children facing challenges who attend these schools. The post holder will provide direct support to parents and families as well as enabling the development of key staff and the coordination of services in schools.

The post holder will have considerable experience of working with parents and families, an understanding of schools and how they operate and knowledge of service provision; a professionally recognised qualification relevant to work with families facing complex difficulties is desirable.
