Temporary contract for 1 year (37 hours per week)

Salary SCP 29: £25,440

Are you interested in being part of an exciting development in Brighton & Hove City? The recently established Early Help Hub and Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) have been established to provide streamlined referral routes and access to appropriate provision for families and children with a level of additional need.  This post will focus on engaging families whose needs have been screened or assessed as being below the threshold for Social work intervention, and help them access the right services and support.

The post is a partnership arrangement, based within the Early Help Engagement Team and employed by Safety Net, a local children’s safety charity based in Brighton & Hove.

Candidates need to have a recognised professional qualification, a degree level qualification or the equivalent proven ability and/or experience; a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working with vulnerable families & excellent communication, mentoring and training skills.  Candidates need to be willing to travel across the city, some out of office hours may be required.
