United Against Bullying – this is the theme for Anti-Bullying Week 2020 which runs from Monday 16th – Friday 20th November. As in previous years, children and adults alike will be encouraged to unite together and mark the week with Odd Socks Day.
Bullying is an act which can deeply challenge and upset children and young people, and often stay with them well into adulthood. Bringing awareness and understanding to the issue can help stop it in its tracks.
Safety Net very much support this campaign and have put together an Anti-Bullying Week resource pack which can be used with the children and young people you are working with. There are some lovely creative opportunities, as well as an explanation of what a bystander is and how they can help. The pack finishes off with a kindness game to help encourage children to think of others.
Please share with your colleagues, families and friends. Thank you!
