Job advert for driver/fitter
Safety Net, a local child safety charity is seeking to recruit a sessional/freelance driver to help with the delivery and fitting of our home safety equipment scheme – mostly stairgates, which operates across Brighton and Hove.
The hours are likely to be approx. 1 day a week at an hourly rate of £9.90 per hour plus a mileage allowance of 45p per mile + .05p per mile passenger allowance.
This is a hugely valuable service and you would be helping to keep babies and children safe in your local community. You would be required to have your own transport. Own tools would be desirable, but we can provide these if needed. This position involves travelling together with the home safety coordinator across the city and fitting equipment in homes.
