This year primary schools across Brighton and Hove have been holding dress down days in aid of Safety Net. This is a straightforward and simple way for schools to get involved with us, find out more about what we do and help us to raise funds.
As a school or college you could hold a cake sale where you could make “Safety Rock Cakes!” , or organise an in-house football match? Perhaps you could make us your charity of the year? Or maybe a parent or teacher would be interested in taking part in one of our running or challenge events?
By participating in these activities, you are directly supporting our work, meaning we can continue to work with children who are bullied, have low self-esteem or have behavioural issues and can continue to provide anti-bullying, well-being and safety projects within schools.
Other ways in which schools and colleges could get their pupils involved would be by participating in the Brighton Half Marathon Youth Race on Sunday 26th February or the annual chicken run which will take place next Easter.
To find out more about any of the above activities or if you would like to get more involved in raising money for us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01273 411613.
