Wendy Guest – Lead Practitioner for Training
Wendy has worked in Health & Social Care for over 30 years, mental and emotional wellbeing has always been at the heart of her work. She has been an accredited trainer in Protective Behaviours since it was first introduced to the UK over 17 years ago. Since joining Safety Net in 2010 she has developed training courses and resources for schools, nurseries, social workers and anyone working with children and young people. Wendy is also an accredited Mindfulness teacher and runs Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction courses for individuals and now offers bespoke Mindfulness training for schools.
Zoe Anstey – Safeguarding Training and Development Worker
Zoe joined the Safety Net team in 2018 and brings with her over 20 years of experience of working with children and young people, in a variety of settings including: schools, play and leisure, and residential. She is an experienced trainer, and her role is to deliver a range of safeguarding courses to those working with children and young people, and also to support voluntary organisations in the area of safeguarding and child protection, such as policy and procedure development. Zoe specialises in disability and inclusion.
Rachel Nahum – Online Safety Trainer
Rachel brings a wealth of experience to her role as Online Safety Coordinator, having worked in IT as well as teaching and family support. She has developed practical and interactive sessions for children and young people, parents and professionals, with the ultimate aim of keeping everyone safe online.
Anne Stafford – DBS Coordinator
At Safety Net we recognise that safe recruitment is an essential part of keeping children and young people safe. Anne provides support and guidance to organisations on obtaining DBS certificates for staff and volunteers as part of our checking service.
